New Year’s Eve was not what the “Material Girl” had anticipated. When vacationing with her boyfriend and kids in Gstaad, Switzerland, Madonna had a face plant -- the picture of which has gone viral, reports The Christian Post on Jan. 3.
The 54-year-old virgin was enjoying some downtime at a chalet with boy toy Brahim Zaibat and kids Lourdes and Mercy at a resort town. However, when the entertainer decided to experience the slopes on her own, she fell face down on the snow.
Unlike their mom, the two kids, 16-year-old daughter, Lourdes and six-year-old Mercy treaded gracefully. While Lourdes was caught on camera gliding gracefully, Mercy looked comfortable after a professional lesson.
To add to the embarrassment, the paparazzi attained some exclusive shots that show the star although dressed in a sleek black ski attire, lying in an awkward position, all sprawled on the powdery snow.
Much to the dismay, the photo of the singer’s “mishap” has gone viral, where clearly she looks exhausted and flustered after the fall. The picture is now making big waves on the Internet and is clearly the hot topic of discussion on several social networking sites.
