Phil Naessens is a popular radio broadcaster. In addition to radio, Phil's hobbies include reading, watching movies and listening to music of all kinds. He is also an avid golfer and chess player.
Phil Naessens is currently entering his 11th year as the Head Tennis Pro at the Corfu Holiday Palace in Corfu Greece. The resort also houses the Phil Naessens Tennis Academy
He is also the host of The Phil Naessens Show. The program began as a twice monthly podcast in March of 2009 mainly as a way of staying involved with my beloved New York Mets but has evolved into a daily one hour syndicated Internet Radio program that can be heard on Max Sports Channels, Ohio Sports Radio Network, K99Rocks and Talk Superstation. Topics include Professional Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf, Fantasy Basketball & Baseball, Politics, and Entertainment & Popular Culture. We also interview authors from New York Times Best Sellers to Indie Authors.
In January of 2012, Phil began a weekly tennis program named This Week in Tennis. This program is published every Saturday and can be heard daily on Max Sports Channels. This program covers all aspects of the great sport of tennis including news from the professional ranks, tennis tips and instruction and interviews with leading members of the tennis teaching profession. Due to the nature of the program and the opinions expressed this program is considered highly controversial.
