The perfect Valentine's Day weekend getaway: rugby sevens in Vegas

What could be a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day with your sweetheart than a trip to Las Vegas for a weekend of the non-stop, fast-paced action of Sevens Rugby?

According to their website, "The USA Sevens is the largest rugby event in North America featuring sixteen nations, competing in forty-four matches." Anyone who's ever been can tell you that it's just plain fun.

Sevens is a unique brand of rugby where each game is fifteen minutes long (seven per each half) and there are only seven players on the field. It's a round-robin tournament with eight hours of play each day. By the end of the day on Sunday, the new champion will be crowned and drinks will be flowing.

The weekend includes an International Fan Festival to cater to the most passionate sports fans you'll ever see (sorry New Orleans).

It all takes place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Near downtown Las Vegas as well as the famous Strip, there will be plenty of Official USA7's parties and events to make this a weekend you'll never forget.

For more info: For ticket and event information, go to the USA Sevens official website. To catch up on the latest parties, ticket giveaways and other exciting news, become a Facebook fan of USA Sevens Rugby.
