While teaching at Forest Park Community College and the University of Missouri at St. Louis, I would start out on the first class of every semester with the picture in this article of 'a bunch of lines' and ask the class to find the 'perfect star'.
I wanted the class relationship to get off to a good start and for people to realize that this learning would be different in a positive way - and to have a good time in the process.
Most times an entire class could not find the star, and when I showed them where it was, they would be dumbfounded and astounded at how the answer was so simple and 'staring' right at them.
The idea that I try to get across in college classes and other learning groups that I have taught is that success is very clear, but it is not always as it appears, usually different than expected, and exciting when seen.
Go outside the box for your answers - realizing that clarity is found in the search.
In this creative gymnasium do your calisthenics exercise and find the perfect star in the pattern. You may have to print this page out and get some help. Most of all - just enjoy and find some fun in it all!
For your success,
