Comcast’s Xfinity On Demand is kicking off this summer’s biggest viewing guide with direct input from you – the customer. "The People’s Hotlist on Xfinity On Demand" will allow customers to choose the hottest shows and movies simply by watching them.

Beginning July 14, we’ll post 200 must-see movies and TV shows, chosen by our team of entertainment experts, and break them down into categories like Teen Favorites, Sitcoms & Satires, Oscar Nominees, Epic Romances, Family Hits, and Guilty Pleasures. The content will span the Xfinity On Demand library and include free, transactional and for purchase movies and TV shows, such as Under the Dome, Ray Donovan, Rio 2, and Frozen.

Our 20+ million customers will then have 10 days to “vote” for their summer favorites each time they watch a movie or TV show. On July 25, we’ll release The People’s Hot List, the top 100 most-watched movies and TV shows as chosen by our customers.

With more than 55,000 On Demand choices automatically pre-loaded and saved as part of our customer’s Xfinity TV digital subscription – from Nielsen’s top 100 TV shows, to blockbuster movies to rent or own - there’s no lack of choices available on Xfinity On Demand across all platforms. Events like The People’s Hot List are part of our ongoing efforts to help customers find and discover all the great content available today. Visit for a complete overview of The People’s Hotlist. And join The People’s Hotlist conversation on Facebook and Twitter with hashtag #watchtovote.
