The Passport restaurant

Open for dinner starting at 5pm, Monday-Saturday, the Passport restaurant is an excellent example of fine dining. At 1101 Jackson Street in the Old Market of Omaha, this is a great place to sit at a white linen tablecloth dinner and look out the window at people passing in the streets of the Old Market.

The Passport has a wide array of delectable delights. Some of the savory appetizers include Baked Brie which if you’ve never tried before is a must have and Saganaki – a Greek cheese that gets floured and sautéed with a brandy flambé. For calamari lovers there is a nice appetizer here at the Passport. Roasted duckling and tenderloin Oscar are some of the specialty entrees.

The filet mignon comes in an 8, 10, or 12oz portion. The New York Strip, one of the best possible cuts of meat, is available in 14 and 20oz portions. The halibut is fresh from Alaska and if the ostrich raised here in Nebraska.

If avocado and bacon is your thing the Thunderbird salad is hit. Save room for dessert because the chocolate mousse, bananas foster, and peach melba are fabulous.
