"Don't forget this Sunday to come down to The Paramount to donate blood to the New York Blood Center!" the venue tweeted from its official Twitter handle.
"Due to overwhelming support, additional online appointments are being made available through the website," said Paramount Director of Marketing Adam Ellis. "If your requested time slot is full, please walk up as staffing will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate. Please make an appointment online or just walk-in anytime from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. this Sunday!"
All donors for the Paramount's blood drive will receive one free general admission ticket for the critically-acclaimed '80s tribute band, Jessie's Girl.
The Jessie's Girl concert, which features a great opening act in American Idol vet Constantine Maroulis, takes place Jan. 3 at 8 p.m.
The 2013 Super Bowl Host Committee is partnering with the New York Blood Center to help increase blood donations leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII.
All presenting donors with the New York Blood Center, between now and Jan. 17, will be entered into a sweepstakes for one pair of tickets to Super Bowl XLVIII, which is valued at $2,500.
The more often you donate, the more times you will be entered.
Every person who presents to donate blood as part of the campaign will also receive a red Super Community Blood Drive wristband.
To participate in the Paramount's blood drive, music fans must bring a photo I.D. and must not have received a new tattoo within the past 12 months.
Additionally, participants must weigh over 110 pounds and must have parental consent up to age 16.
