On Aug. 27, Paramount co-owner and longtime concert industry veteran Brian Doyle said in an exclusive chat with NY Concert Examiner Eric Holden that he's thrilled his venue has cracked into the top 25 on Pollstar's list of top concert venues across the world.
From January through June 2013, Pollstar ranked The Paramount at 24th in the world.
The Pollstar report clearly shows Long Island, New York, and the entire concert community that in just twenty short months, The Paramount has become one of the elite live entertainment clubs worldwide. The Paramount is poised to build on its success and continue its march to the front of the list as a top venue for live music anywhere.
The reasons for this early success are numerous and include a variety of factors – the size and strength of the Long Island market; the fan experience at the venue - the ambiance, the artwork, the energy and the service; the way in which The Paramount caters to artists with top notch sound and lights, an experienced production crew and even a bathroom just off stage for the band; along with the strong support of the local Long Island media, the Town of Huntington and our partners at Live Nation & Ticketmaster.
“Our mission from day one at The Paramount has been to create an enjoyable concert experience that not only audiences, but artists also want to return to,” said Brian Doyle, co-owner of The Paramount and long-time concert industry veteran. “From the moment you walk through the doors, you are transported to another world as the energy of the room gives every concert-goer the feeling that they are in for an amazing show,” Mr. Doyle continued. “We are grateful to the support of our partners at Live Nation who have done a tremendous job in helping us bring first class talent to our market”.
Headed into the fall, The Paramount looks forward to welcoming even more world-famous, Grammy-winning artists to Long Island with; LeAnn Rimes, Pat Benatar, Bruce Hornsby, Don McLean and Judy Collins hitting the stage, as well as ZZ Top, set to make first-time appearances at the venue in November. Today, The Paramount also confirmed two shows with the very popular rock band - The Fray; coming October 23rd & 24th to Huntington, Long Island.
“The venue’s rapid climb in Pollstar’s international rankings, and the fact that performers continue to return, tell us we’re on the right track,” said Stephen Ubertini, co-owner of The Paramount. “It is always a great moment to hear such world-famous artists like Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty say ‘this is one of the most amazing venues I have ever played,’ or Don Henley of The Eagles telling us ‘I am blown away by the energy of the room.’ This is why we work so hard to make the experience so special - for the musicians and for their fans.”
Opened Sept. 30, 2011; The Paramount is a 1,555-capacity, live entertainment venue presenting concerts, comedy, boxing, community and other special events in a club / theater setting.
Located in the heart of a pulsating downtown Huntington, Long Island, New York, The Paramount has hosted hundreds of high-level acts.
