'The Originals' recap of 'Dance Back from the Grave'

Last week the Harvest was completed only the innocent witches that were sacrificed to complete the ceremony were not resurrected. This week we learn the witches that were resurrected were powerful elders, some if not all of whom, were destroyed by the Original vampires and their crew. It looks like, after watching the episode that aired January 28, 2014 the rest of the season (or at least a few more episodes) fans will watch as witches from the past attempt to bring down and destroy Klaus and his family. As fans of this series and the original series The Vampire Diaries will attest, there is nothing more intriguing than watching a powerful enemy attempt to "kill" the Originals. If you did not see the episode please be aware that spoilers are included in the following paragraphs.

This week, Rebekah was attacked by an old nemesis witch doctor bent on revenge. His first move is to channel Rebekah's strength. While Elijah and Hailey attempt to free Rebekah the witch doctor attacks Marcel (you know sins of the father and all). Cammie calls Klaus for help. While Klaus is protecting Marcel and failing miserably against the witch doctor's channeled power Hailey offers her blood to free Rebekah from the spell circle. Elijah manages to get Rebekah to safety just in time for Klaus to gain the upper hand, proving once again, it takes a village for success, despite Klaus' ego. Leaving fans wondering when, if ever, Klaus will come to this same revelation. Elijah is convinced he will get there and Rebekah has little faith he can change. Which Original do you think is right?

In the last few minutes of this week's episode we watched as the Witch Doctor channeled all the vampires held in Marcel's jailhouse into a special knife. A knife that the reincarnated Sabine uses to slit the witch doctor's throat as a sacrifice. Trouble is brewing and fans are waiting anxiously at the edge of their seats to find out what happens next.
