"The Originals" has a new witch that is giving Bonnie Bennett a run for her money on CW. On Friday, Oct. 11, Screen Spy shared the details for "The Originals" episode 1.04 titled "Girl in New Orleans." A writer for the series, Michael Narducci, went to his Twitter on Saturday to tease this week's episode 1.03 as well. He teased the following:
Tuesday at 8 PM on the CW: A rescue attempt, a murder plot, someone dies -- and someone suffers a fate far worse than death. #TheOriginals
Joseph Morgan had also teased "Girl in New Orleans" on his Twitter on Thursday night, but now fans are being given the full scoop at the episode. Davina will go up against Klaus during the episode, but spoilers also tease a conversation between Cami and Klaus as well. She will reveal something about her past to him, and it will change things. It isn't clear how the battle between the witch and the hybrid begins, but there is a show of power. She manhandled Rebekah on their first meeting. Will she do the same to Klaus?
The actor has been busy promoting the new series, and he spoke about the series in a new interview. He said the following, according to Just Jared Jr.:
They’ve taken my favorite elements of The Vampire Diaries and made a new show with them. And I’ve always loved working with Claire [Holt] and Daniel [Gillies]. There’s an older, darker, edgier side to The Originals. I’m looking forward to playing how Klaus deals with impending fatherhood.
Right now, Daniel Gillies' character is Elijah is in Marcel's custody with a dagger in his chest, and Rebekah, who is played by Claire Holt, has just arrived in New Orleans. Rebekah will have an encounter with Elijah though, so he might not remain in a coffin forever. "The Originals" will continue to air on Tuesday nights.
