What perhaps started as an artists’ night out, has evolved into one of Los Angeles' best underground art scenes! There’s an amazing art collaborative that’s been brewing since 2005!
Located below the streets in downtown Los Angeles, “Caseys” is more than just an Irish bar. They are the host for an incredibly talented group of eclectic creators ranging from animators, illustrators, tattoo artists, story board artists, to directors and producers, who gather every Thursday night to drink & draw!
Artists in attendance included: Reverend Dave Johnson, Dan “Judas Jones” Panosian, Jeff “Angel Warrior” Johnson, Autumn Rain Turkel , Snakebite, Zack Morrisette, Randy Martinez, Denise Vasquez, Howard Shum, Tony Donley, Misha, Anthony Rivero, Jon Schnepp, Edward Artinian, Matt Taylor, Michael Maglio, Matthew Taylor, Robert Negrete, Sarah Ghazal, Timothy Poole, Terry Ziegelman, Dave Savage, Jeff Johnson, Bianca Olson, Robi Conroy, and Susan Lee.
Utilizing their imaginations, hearts, and souls, artists sit around in a relaxed environment while chatting, eating, drinking and drawing. Their tools consist of pencils, pens, ink, markers, paint pens, post it notes, cardboard, napkins, sketchbooks and more! Bring your own stuff if you’re planning on drawing, or come socialize, have a drink and watch some incredible art come to life! Drink & Draw happens every Thursday night starting at 8pm at Casey’s Irish Bar located 613 South Grand Ave Los Angeles, CA 90017 To learn more about The original drink and draw social club, be sure to visit their website www.drinkanddraw.com

This is a truly great time. Tons of talent.
This is SUCH a cool idea. Bonus points for it happening at an Irish bar. Nothing like PITT pens over a thick froth of Guinness.
I wish we had something like that going on over here in Florida.
Nerds!
Actually, you may have a chapter of drink and draw in your area. You should look into it on the web.
I'm never short of amazed at the venues that just inspire creativity
Do you have to bring your own art supplies or can you have a drink and enjoy watching other artists?
Hi Jason,
You are welcome to hang out & watch other artists. If you'd like to create something, be sure to bring your own supplies.
Got something to say?
