The original cast returns for 'Horrible Bosses 2'

THR learned Sunday that Jason Bateman (“Smokin’ Aces”), Charlie Day (“Pacific Rim”), and Jason Sudekis (“A Good Old Fashioned Orgy”) are all set to return for “Horrible Bosses 2;” with Jamie Foxx (“Ray”) in negotiations to return as well.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who penned the original, worked on a draft of the sequel's script earlier this year, and original director Seth Gordon signed on to direct again.

Since New Line is eyeing a late August start I can only guess that the script is finally ready, and the cast should begin to fill out pretty soon.

In the original film Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey played the titular bosses, and the three returning cast members played people sick of their bosses and conspired to kill them (only one of them perished).

Do I think there should be a sequel? Of course not, but money talks and the original grossed over $200 million worldwide on a $35 million budget.
