Fashion designers Alexa Adams and Flora Gill presented their Ohne Titel Spring Summer 2013 fashion runway show at Milk Made Fashion Week, which coincided with New York Fashion Week Spring 2013. The collection was inspired by the bright and playful colors found in the drawings of artist Karl Wirsum. The collection is consists mostly of dresses and skirts, with a smattering of blouses, shorts, and pants. Some of the fabrics used for this season are perforated leather, sand washed silks and patterned jacquard knits.
The first look in the collection is a blue knit jacquard dress that with thin black lines, and a curvy black block pattern with aqua blue borders. The rhythm of the patterns loosely mirror the outlines of a woman's body.
Another notable look is a silk print tuck-sleeve blouse, and mesh slouch pant. The blouse has similar colors and shapes as the previously mentioned dress, but in this blouse, the colors appear in different places. The most distinguish part of this look are the mesh pockets in the pants. Hands visible through the mesh pockets, which looks oh so cool.
Some pieces have an almost hypnotic appeal. One such outfit is an ombre knit top, and ombre knit skirt. It consisted of black and white lines of graduating widths and ran in blocks of different directions.
The final dress in the collection is another fine example of how the designers created beauty and complexity with only black and white. Its a leather mesh dress that looks futuristic, eye catching, and wearable.
All of the sandals presented during the show were by Ohne Titel, and Helveta Vyotlag provided the jewelry. Please click to view more images of Ohne Titel Spring Summer 2013.
