Just a thought... hardly worth mentioning.
President Barack Obama was... well, sort of snubbed during a photo-op at the G-20 meeting in Pittsburgh this week. One of his guests apparently wanted his picture taken with only the first lady. Excuse me, Mr. President, but would you mind...?
It all reminded me of the time another charismatic family occupied the White House.
Such was Jacqueline Kennedy's popularity that, on a state visit to France in 1961, JFK quipped in opening remarks during a speech to a group of diplomats: "Let me introduce myself," the president said. "I am the man who accompanied Jackie Kennedy to Paris."
Now, watch this video of the man who accompanied Michelle Obama to Pittsburgh.
