The Obama Eagle: Local artist tribute to the President

I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with local artist Lois Esparza. Lois and her nephew Geno Esparza have created the three dimensional, lighted Obama Whitehouse Eagle. Every intricate detail of her work has meaning. As Lois describes her work it becomes obvious she is sharing a labor of love.
Her words are filled with passion as she describes the spiritual, geographical and biological significance in the Obama Eagle. My words could not express her piece with the passion and detail deserved. You can view the Obama Eagle at The Left of Center Gallery.

Las Vegas is full of talent and hidden niches. It’s always a joy to discover new places. The Left of Center Gallery is located on Clayton and Gowan. Business hours are Tuesday thru Friday 12 pm – 5 pm and Saturday 10 am – 3 pm. Check out the website. http://www.leftofcenterart.org/
Spirit of Color a piece by Adolfo Gonzalez drew me to his page. I love his work. The variety and style of Harold Bradford is most impressive. I liked Vicki Richardson’s work. Lois Esparza is not listed among the artist on the website. However, she is featured in the video.
