The Oakland Raiders travel to Missouri to face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday which will be a tough match to deal with since the Chiefs are undefeated after five weeks into the 2013 NFL season. However, the Raiders have won the last six meetings with the Chiefs at the Arrowhead Stadium.
The Oakland Raiders official web page reported on Tuesday that the Silver and Black are looking to win their 7th straight win in Kansas City.
This will be a hard task as the Chiefs are nothing like they were last year. Last year, the Chiefs finished their season with a 2-14 record. The Raiders also swept the series against them in 2012.
So far this year, the Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0. The Chiefs are one of three teams that stand undefeated. The other two undefeated teams are the New Orleans Saints and the Denver Broncos.
On the other hand, the Raiders have a confidence booster from their last victory over the San Diego Chargers. Plus, the Raiders have weapons that have taken down the Chiefs in the past.
One is kicker Sebastian Janikowski who has 24 games against the Chiefs in which he has 51 of 59 field goals. This record includes 8 of 12 from 50-plus yards.
Another is wide receiver Denarius Moore who 240 yards with two touchdowns against the Chiefs in four games. All this in just 15 catches too!
Lastly, safety Charles Woodson who has 70 tackles, six interceptions (adding up to 156 yards), and two touchdowns against the Chiefs in 14 games.
Things could go awry for the Kansas City Chiefs at home against an opponent, the Oakland Raiders, that has had the upper hand in the last few years.
