Philadelphia is a rich city for the arts. The city has so many opportunities to hear great music . If your ears are itching for some Christmas music and entertainment, a performance of the Nutcracker is always a welcomed holiday tradition. How about watching a version of Nutcracker with historical and local take? This weekend the Rock School, a world-renowned ballet company, will be presenting their performance of the Nutcracker 1776.

The young adventurers embark on an enchanted journey, meeting such colorful characters as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin and General Mouse Howe," she said.
Over 200 students from the Rock School will be dazzling your eyes as they dance this classic ballet with a Philly twist.
