The Bengals announced today that the NFL has named WR Marvin Jones as the AFC Offensive Player of the week. Last Sunday Jones became the first Bengals player in history to grab four touchdowns in a single game. Tomorrow evening, the Bengals will be in prime time action against the Miami Dolphins.
With half the NFL season in the books, the Dolphins and Bengals are moving in opposite directions. The Dolphins have lost four in a row while the Bengals have won four straight.
The Bengals have also made a few adjustments to their roster this week. They placed CB Leon Hall on the Reserve/Injured list, signed LB J.K. Schaffer from the practice squad and waived DE Dequin Evans.
Additionally, the club also placed S Taylor Mays on the Reserve/Injured list after he dislocated his shoulder in last Sunday’s blowout win over the N.Y. Jets. Read more about the Bengals on their team website.
