A resident of the southwest suburbs of Chicago, she is a determined, successful entrepreneur as well as beautiful in personality and presentation. After getting to know her as a fellow writer, she exemplifies a love for life in all that she accomplishes including her eclectic writing from children’s books investigating the engineering feats of bridges, tunnels, canals and damns to magical children's plays that depict dazzling personalities in the Sun, Moon.
Donna Latham is someone you should know if beginning a career as an author. Donna will write about anything as her website indicates from numerous books for children that talk about backyard biology and plays that have been produced across the country. Her book Bridges and Tunnels received a Gold Medal from the Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards. And her most recent play And We Will Share the Sky won the National Theatre for Young Audiences Play Writing Competition at the University of Central Missouri.
And that is how she makes dreams come true by constantly writing her thoughts, interests, passion for even the historic ghostly, diversifying her efforts in several directions, never giving up on what she truly loves; remaining focused on her art. A true writer will write about anything...almost an addiction...they just can't stop. But this one does so with immeasurable confidence in her day. That's what makes her shine.
