Order: Summit pale ale $5.75
I stumbled upon this bar about 3 days ago. Not knowing what to expect I went straight to the bar. A very nice bartender asked for my drink order, not seeing my usual Budweiser on tap i decided to go with a Summit pale ale. I looked over there wine menu and saw some pretty good wine on there menu. They have wines ranging from $27 for a toasted head cabernet sauvignon to a $460 1998 Joseph Phelps insignia. Wine by glass is $7-14.
On Tap:
Miller lite, Grain belt, Summit pale ale, Honey Weiss, Labatt blue, Fat tire, Classic pale ale, Harp, Guinness, 9 beer
The atmosphere at the bar looks like a pirate ship with a cool dim candle lit scene. It has New York style wallpaper and they have the Yankees playing on the flat screen TV’s whenever available. It was slow when I was at the bar but busy outside. They have lots of patio dining tables outside, which is always a plus.
My opinion: Great place to come to if your a New Yorker or on a first date but the expensive price for a tap beer draws me away. If you do go make sure you bring the dollars. The bathrooms are pretty cool just don’t go into the wrong one like I almost did.
