Four months after a submission from Candice’s sister Sarina to the reality series House Hunters, the Quarles were invited to share their house hunting and home-buying experience with the world.

So how do you get ready for a reality show? What beauty regimen do you choose? How do you select your clothes?

For Candice Quarles, it was simple. She would wear what was left in her closet after eliminating clothes from the long list of guidelines the show gave them to follow.

Some of the guidelines included avoiding wearing all white or all black and wearing stripes (apparently they do weird things in the camera).

In addition, the show guidelines suggested wearing bright and bold colors as they work better with the camera and lighting.

Quarles also chose to go with a make-up artist to ensure that polished look for the camera and a classic mid-length bob.

The show was about searching for houses and she wanted the focus to remain on the very important task at hand.

In 2012, Jeremiah and Candice Quarles were married and within a year they knew they were ready to become homeowners.

Candice originally from St Louis, Missouri and Jeremiah originally from Flint Michigan, they began brainstorming on where they would like to live.

The decision proved to be a tough one but after Jeremiah was offered a wonderful position in Desoto, Texas the Quarles accepted the job offer and moved to Texas.

The Quarles won’t give away any hints on which house they brought but Candice did reveal that their style was reflected in the house they chose.

They are social people so it was important to buy a house that would allow them to entertain guest.

The show airs tomorrow, April 18, 2014 at 9pm CST on HGTV.
