The Oakland Raiders will meet the New York Jets at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday in the month of December for the 2013 NFL season.

It was reported on Monday that the Raiders have won the last two of the three games played against the Jets. The Raiders also lead the series against the Jets 21-15-2.

The match will be hosted by the New York team at the MetLife Stadium. This will be the Raiders first time at New York's new stadium, opened in 2010.

The Raiders have not been hosted by the Jets since 2006 in which the Jets pummeled the Silver-and-Black 23-3.

The last game these two teams played was back in September of 2011 in which the Raiders won 34 to 24 in Oakland.

The New York Jets went 6-10 last season and failed to make playoffs. They are currently having quarterback problems just like the Raiders.

This will be an interesting match-up, come in December, because both teams will most likely be using a heavy run scheme. Maybe, it could be otherwise.

Until then, the New York Jets will most likely be the favorites, since they will be at home hosting a newly rebuilt team.
