With The New Pornographers collaboration with Intelligentsia Coffee on the limited-edition coffee, "Brill Brew," that will become available on August 20, and can be pre-ordered here. Announced through Sacks & Co. on July 31, each coffee purchased will come with a digital download card for Brill Bruisers, which will be released via Matador Records on August 25.

Of the collaboration, Carl Newman comments, “As absurd as it may seem for us to have a signature blend, I think it is important that there is some sort of marker, some flag planted in the earth, so that whoever walks into Intelligentsia, whoever drinks this, will know: ‘The New Pornographers really really loved coffee.’” Additionally, Stephen Morrissey of Intelligentsia Coffee states, “After hearing The New Pornographers visit our coffee bars when they’re in town, we invited them to choose an exclusive lot to call their own in celebration of their new album, Brill Bruisers. Carl tasted samples with us in the garden of our Chelsea shop in New York and chose a Kenya coffee grown by Harrison Kiongo Miti. Flavors of mango, nectarine and green apple shine in this cheerful and sweet coffee.”

The band has released the new music video for their single, "War on the East Coast," which premiered on Rolling Stone, and can be viewed here. Brill Bruisers is the first new release for the band in four years, and have been critically heralded with NPR stating they are "virtually peerless in the world of power-pop and indie-rock” and New Yorker says "...magnificent and clever…”

They will be on fall tour, with shows at L.A.'s The Wiltern and New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, with appearances at Riot Fest and Austin's Fun Fun Fun Fest.

The New Pornographers are A.C. Newman, Blaine Thurier, Dan Bejar, John Collins, Kathryn Calder, Kurt Dahle, Neko Case and Todd Fancey.
