Announcing the new Michigan Science Center, previously known as the Detroit Science Center. After 15 months of closure, an entirely new Michigan Science Center opened it's doors December 26, 2012. Closed amidst financial woes in September 2011, the center is now a non-profit and all donations to the center will be tax-deductible.
It is good to know that families in the Metro Detroit area will again be able to enjoy the exhibits and interactive displays available at the Michigan Science Center. The current offerings teach about diabetes and the human body. Visit their website for more information and plan your visit this weekend.
