Vawn should be given a player award for the way he flips it on Alex and Africa. Alex is hurt he never called her and she reveals she's really into him. Vawn basically tells her if she wants him she better be prepared to chase him and prove she wants him. She tries to dangle the bait to trap him, but ultimately she is becoming the bait. Somehow this still intrigues her to continue pursuing him.
Africa throws Vawn some major shade at her dance rehearsal. Initially she spits venom at him for leaving the party with another woman in last week's episode, but he quickly turns it back on her and checks her attitude and lack of communication skills.
He wipes away Africa’s tears and says off camera that “seeing a woman cry really makes me vulnerable because I seen my mama go through the same things.” That revelation doesn’t seem to motivate him to change his behavior at all. A true player knows how to reel a woman back in by saying, “We’re gonna go through adversity as friends…if we get to the next level [with] you [as] my woman or my wife.” Aahhh…the marriage seed has been planted to keep her hanging on. Africa buys the bull and they kiss and make up. He at least agrees not to disrespect her in public anymore.
Vawn has his relationship seminar to promote his soon to be released book The Man U All Love, Need, Want & Hate!! Emily laughs and points at all the signage and posters with incorrect grammar and misspellings. Obviously he didn’t have a professional proofread them first.
During the panel discussion when the topic of cheating is brought up, Alex decides to get some attention and discuss how Woman’s Suffrage ruined everything for women and today's woman needs to get back in the kitchen and get on her knees and please her man after a long, hard day at work. The women in the crowd look at her as if she popped up from the 1950s.
Emily reminds Vawn in front of everyone how he says it’s okay for him to sleep with any woman he wants as long as he’s honest with all of them. When he sees the women are displeased with that statement he back peddles and says that's not what he meant. Did he change his mind in fear of losing all of his presale book orders?
Tribble stands up for Emily and lets all the women know cheating is not okay. Vawn gets riled up when it looks like the women are leaning towards Tribble’s point of view. Vawn snatches Tribble’s mic and the two collide. “I’m open to everybody’s opinion, but just because it’s an open forum doesn’t mean you get to step up here and hijack my event, ” Vawn shouts.
Hotel security and Vawn’s associates separate Vawn and Tribble. One group pulls Tribble away trying to get him to leave and Vawn continues to follow him ready to continue the altercation. Tribble is pushed into a taxi and exits the scene. Vawn apologizes to his guest and beelines it out of there before the Atlanta police can question him. The white hotel “rent a cop”, as Africa calls him, says Vawn was the aggressor, which infuriates Africa, but she plays it cool. “I know what those code words mean when you say that to the police.” Thankfully the police leave without any arrests being made.
Did Tribble hijack Vawn’s event? Was Vawn right to be upset? Did Vawn back peddle with from his previous discussions? What is your opinion on Alex’s Women’s Suffrage comment?
