The Neutral Platform

Sorry for the hiatus, folks! It's hard to get anything done when you have a sick child at home. But now, I'm back on track. And now, for your reading pleasure:

The Neutral Platform

This delightful shoe seems to always poke its head out the same time as the daffodils. It's fun, sweet and totally stylish. The newest addition for this year is the platform sandal in neutral. Tan, Beige, Sand, Rose...maybe even a little Metallic. They are spiced up for Spring and will translate easily into your summer wardrobe of breezy dresses and tanned legs. For Spring try them with a wide-leg trouser or jean, a ruffly top (also super cute for Spring) and a little cargo jacket. Piperlime.com is offering some great numbers by Frye and Sam Edelman. My favorite (and Rachel Zoe's pick!) is the Antoinette by Betsey Johnson. It's got a 4 inch platform raffia espadrille with a black leather flower at the ankle. Don't be put off by the 4 inch heel, on a platform sandal, 4 inches is easy to walk in with an even sole and mini platform under the toes. So for Spring/Summer 2010, give a platform sandal a try!
