The Neighbourhood (THE NBHD) announce North American tour set for Spring

Los Angeles outfit, The Neighbourhood (sometimes stylized as "THE NBHD"), has announced a North American headline tour set for the spring. The dates, which follow select UK dates with The 1975, kick off March 7 in Phoenix, AZ and see the band crossing the U.S. and Canada through early April (see tour itinerary below). The Neighbourhood will stop in Chicago at the Riviera Theatre on Monday, March 24th with support from Kitten and Born Casual.

The band is composed of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, and bassist Mikey Margott. Former drummer, Bryan Sammis, was so inspired by the early versions of the song Sweater Weather that he left college and joined the band. After releasing two EPs, I'm Sorry... and Thank You, The Neighbourhood released their first full-length album, I Love You in 2013, via Columbia Records.

The Neighbourhood broke out with hit singles “Sweater Weather” and “Afraid” from their debut album I Love You. “Sweater Weather,” which Billboard described as "deeply compelling," was recently certified platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 1 Million units and had one of the longest runs on the 2013 radio charts. The song was also praised by Rolling Stone, who noted "Layering hasn't sounded this cool since 'The Sweater Song.'" follow up single "Afraid," praised by Billboard for its "edgy, subtle hooks," is seeing similar success, currently top 5 at Alternative Radio. Additionally, over the holidays the band released two new tracks for their fans, UNFAIR and SILVER from the upcoming #000000 & #FFFFFF project.

Tickets are on sale now priced at $25. Show starts at 7:30pm. This is an all ages show.
