The National perform 'I Need My Girl' and 'Graceless' on 'Saturday Night Live'

On March 8 the American indie rock band The National performed their songs "I Need My Girl" and "Graceless" live on the NBC variety show, "Saturday Night Live". The episode was hosted by actress Lena Dunham ("Girls") and it also featured cameos from Liam Nesson, Jon Hamm, and Fred Armisen. The first song they performed was "Graceless" which was the third single from their most recent studio album, "Trouble Will Find Me". The album was released on May 21, 2013 via 4AD and it reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. The album was nominated for a 2014 Grammy Award in the category Best Alternative Album.

The second song The National performed on "Saturday Night Live" was "I Need My Girl" which is their fourth, and current single from that same album.The next new episode of "Saturday Night Live" will be on March 29 and Louis C.K. will be the host for the evening. The musical guest for that episode has yet to be confirmed.
