The National, Lorde, and Nas to headline Boston Calling Music Festival, September 5-7. Every year Boston Calling Music Festival gets bigger and better as Boston finally has a music festival to look forward to not once but twice a year regularly at City Hall Plaza.
This year's lineup is more eclectic than ever and includes the return of the American indie rock band The National, and a mixture of rock, hip hop, and dance music.
No matter what genre of music fans enjoy they'll have at least a few acts that will be pleasing to their ears including Neutral Milk Hotel, Bleachers, Girl Talk, Spoon, The Replacements, Childish Gambino, and many more.
With The National topping the bill with their melancholic rock and the alternative rock of The Replacements, who played their first show in over 24 years in 2013. Fans in Boston can't hardly wait for their return to the stage.
Others will be excited for what will be one epic dance party from Girl Talk and Bleachers. Between bands, attendees can find delicious food from local and healthy vendors and satisfying beer, including Octoberfest, from Samuel Adams who will be giving out samples of different brews at the festival.
