Though she was fired from her job as a blogger for Coupon Cabin earlier this week, Kate Gosselin may not out of a job for long. That is, assuming the once-star of "Kate Plus 8" is willing - willing to shed all her clothes, that is.
TMZ reported on Saturday that Gosselin has been approached by everyone's favorite adult entertainment company, Vivid. You may recall that Vivid approached Prince Harry with a $10 million offer to make a XXX-rated film after photos showing Prince Harry cavorting nude with similarly nude women in his Las Vegas suite emerged. No sense not ambulance chasing, apparently.
Vivid wants Gosselin to serve as a "Naked Host" for their new cable TV division, VividTV. The letter, in PDF form, said
Dear Kate,
We were so sorry to hear that Coupon Cabin felt you weren't "a good fit," but we think you'd be a terrific fit for VividTV, and we'd like to open that door for you.
VividTV is the exciting new cable division of Vivid Entertainment, the world's leading adult film studio. And fortunately for you, we're looking for our very first Naked Host!
You'd present our award-winning programming on-air, and our worldwide audience would no doubt appreciate your "perkiness." We think you'll have them hanging on to your every word.
When you're clothed you'll get to wear wonderful erotic outfits which you'll help to choose. You' ll build your fan base with our enthusiastic viewers, you'll be a part of our renowned creative team and you'll have a flex schedule that will leave plenty of time for family.
We've all seen you as a beautiful, caring, working mom. Isn't it time now for the world to see you as a hot babe in high quality but very sexy entertainment? Please share with us your thoughts. We have binders of women who would love the job, but you're definitely our first choice.
The letter was signed by Steven Hirsch, the founder and co-chairman of Vivid.
Notably, the letter does say she won't be unclothed all of the time. She'll also get a flexible schedule.
Despite mentioning "binders full of women," we doubt that Vivid's binders are the same as GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney's.
