The Mystery of Flight 370

It has now been over a week since Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 vanished from radar, becoming perhaps one of the greatest international mysteries of our time.

Last Saturday, the plane bound for Beijing, China, from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, vanished, flummoxing experts and causing several countries to participate in an international search for the large plane.

It has now been a week since the plane, which had three Americans on board, , and the mystery only appears be deepening. While we still don't know very much about the fate of the plane, what we do know is that it disappeared from radar, and no confirmed remains of either the plane or its passengers have been located.

But how can such a large plane just vanish?

There are still more questions than answers. Questions remain about the background of the plane's two pilots, and whether or not two passengers on the missing plane who were using false passports for identification were possibly linked to terrorism.

For some, human interference has become the most likely cause of the plane's disappearance. Many experts also believe that the plane would have been able to stay in the air for several hours after it vanished from radar.

As the case continues to captivate attention and provoke questions from people around the world, governments from around the world are still looking for answers as well.

Will we ever know what became of this flight and the over 200 passengers on board? Perhaps not.
