The Muppets perform on last episode of 'Late Night' with Jimmy Fallon

In what may end up being the biggest news not Olympic-related this weekend, Jimmy Fallon's last episode as the host "Late Night" played early Saturday morning. Bowing out in a way that only Fallon could, he poked fun at the show's late start time and referenced many reoccurring skits in his opening monologue.

In what the host called "fitting," the Muppets were the final musical act. There to promote the upcoming "Muppets Most Wanted" film coming to theaters, the entire Muppet gang and Fallon himself played at the end of the show before Fallon walked down the hall to the new "The Tonight Show" studio where Fallon will take over hosting duties in 10 days. Jay Leno's last episode of "The Tonight Show" aired Thursday night.

For the first time in 40 years, the "Tonight Show" will be back in New York City. Fallon was super-pumped about bringing the show back to The Big Apple. While finishing the show going to the new studio, Fallon gleamed like a 10-year-old, not holding back his excitement at the promotion.
