Jason Segel talked about his upcoming feature, The Muppets on Tuesday during the CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The annual show of cinema owners and managers coming together in the business of entertainment had a Disney presentation that gave some new details about the upcoming movie of the late Jim Henson.
Jason Segel is directing and starring in the movie The Muppets. Co-writing the script, the celebrity took to the microphone and told the audience how much he loved The Muppets. Reflecting on his first laugh as a kid, outwardly he holds the humor of the Muppets in high regard.
‘The Muppets’ movie is scheduled to be released on November 23, and you might be surprised to learn there will be a new Muppet included in this feature film. According to the presentation provided, the Muppet will be introduced as a character close to Jason Segel’s character.
Another bit of information that came out of the presentation was the musicals. As all of the Muppet Movies have strong music, this movie will be no exception. In the forthcoming movie 4 musicals will be in the film.
The Muppets movie is slated to hit the theaters on November 23, 2011. We can hardly wait!
