As if there couldn’t be any more surprises from Beyonce and Jay Z. According to a report by Us Weekly on April 16, the couple is expected to go on tour together this summer. The news comes just days after Queen Bey and Hova made surprise appearances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts festival.

A source told the celebrity magazine that rehearsals will start as soon as mid-May with the duo perhaps performing in NYC on July 4. The 20-stadium tour would be epic as both are two of the most successful recording artists in the industry and if their performance together at the 2014 Grammys is any indication, the tour will be much talked about and classic.

With their hit collaboration “Drunk in Love” currently burning up the radio airwaves, fans of both Beyonce and Jay Z will be in for quite a treat with the anticipated tour. Besides “Drunk in Love”, the two have performed collaborative hits like “Bonnie & Clyde,” and “Crazy in Love.” Both will also have to regroup after recently ending individual tours. Beyonce just wrapped up her yearlong “Mrs. Carter World Tour” and Jay Z has recently wrapped up his “Magna Carta Holy Grail” tour.

News of the tour were just surfacing rumors until the New York Post Page Six reported that plans are indeed in the works and the tour will start in late June, marking quite the summer for hip hop’s royal couple. This past weekend at Coachella, Beyonce surprised fans with a performance with her younger sister Solange and Jay Z took the stage to perform “Dead Presidents” with both Nas and Diddy. If the tour is confirmed, it will make Blue Ivy’s parents two of the busiest performers in the world of music.
