Monday's concerts are led by a show by California alt-rockers The Mowgli's (pictured) at Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines. The band combines four San Fernando Valley natives with three Midwest transplants and rock and pop with folk, country, and dance music. The Mowgli's charted a Top 20 Alternative single with "San Francisco" (featured video) in 2012 off of their EP Love's Not Dead. They followed that up with the release of their second full-length studio album, Waiting for the Dawn, in 2013. The album peaked at #23 on the Alternative chart. Scott Yoshimura of the Des Moines rock band Canby will open the show. The music will kick off at 6 p.m., and the show will be open to all ages. Tickets for the concert are $15.

Tuesday will also bring Minneapolis blues/funk/rock jam band Circle of Heat to Des Moines for a 10 p.m. show at Vaudeville Mews.
