Update: Countdown to Christmas new holiday movies on Hallmark 2013

Two-time Golden Globe winner and five-time Emmy Award nominee Henry Winkler (“Happy Days”), Brooke Burns (“Miss Guided,” "Fixing Pete," "Undercover Bridesmaid" ) and Warren Christie (“October Road”) star in the family film, which reminds viewers that you’re never too old to act like a kid again.

Jennifer Cullen (Burns) is a single, working mom who is too busy to make time for Christmas. She has become somewhat of a Scrooge when it comes to the Holiday season. Even her six-year-old son Brian (Connor Levins, “Eight Below”) is having trouble believing in Santa Claus.

Jen’s Uncle Ralph (Winkler), a retired police officer, shakes up her life when he comes to visit for Christmas. While traveling, Ralph meets a young man and brings him along to Jen's house. His new friend, Morgan Derby (Christie) is nomad and Jack-of-all-trades named Morgan Derby (Christie). Ralph and Morgan met on a flight. Morgan planned to head to Denver but his flight was cancelled because the city was snowed in.

Jen is wary of the stranger, but agrees to let him stay the night at Ralph’s request.

Morgan turns out to be charming and helpful around the house. When Jen sees how he interacts with Brian, she warms up to him. Jen’s stuffy boyfriend, Richard (Woody Jeffreys, “Graffiti Flowers”), lets her know that he is not happy with the arrangement.

Morgan starts to really like Jen, but her all-business attitude is a turn-off. If she cannot gtsome Christmas spirit she may miss out on a promising relationship. Uncle Ralph keeps Morgan around as long as he can, it’s going to take something more than that to get him penciled into Jen’s long-term If Jen cannot learn “how to do Christmas,” Morgan will be off to Denver and flying out of her life..

Hallmark Channel presents “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” in association with Dan Wigutow Productions and KZ Productions. Dan Wigutow and Michael M. Scott are the executive producers, Harvey Kahn is the producer, and Caroline Moore is the co-producer. Michael Scott directed from a script by Bruce Graham.
