This weekend, treat yourself to one of the most beautiful concerts you'll ever see.  Chris Carrabba, lead singer of Dashboard Confessional will be performing atop Pikes Peak on Saturday, July 31st to benefit the Love Hope Strength Foundation.  The concert, dubbed 'Pikes Peak Rocks 2010' brings together cancer survivors, supporters and musicians to benefit global cancer care and nationwide bone marrow registration to help locate matches for patients with Leukemia and other blood disorders.

The event, part of an ongoing series of concerts in idyllic locations like Mount Fuji, Machu Pichu and Mt. Everest, is a special opportunity for outdoor  and music enthusiasts to enjoy their passions while supporting a fantastic cause.  To participate in the event, or make a donation, visit:  LoveHopeStrength

Those making the trek to the summit will be treated to musical performances along the way.  Miles Zuniga, of Grammy nominated, Fastball, solo artist Nathan Croswhite and home grown John Common & Blinding Flashes of Light will be performing along the Barr Trail.  The hike culminates with Chris Carrabba performing at the summit (14,110 feet).

Donors and hikers participating in the pilgrimage will then head down to the second most beautiful concert venue they'll visit that day - Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where they'll be treated to a private concert backstage with Brett Dennen before settling into VIP seats for the Michael Franti & Spearhead set.

Last year, LHS became the first organization to hold a benefit concert atop Pikes Peak and raised international awareness for the event that featured The Bacon Brothers, The White Buffalo, and Cy Curnin of The Fixx.

With temperatures expected to be a comfortable 80 degrees on Saturday, with mostly sunny skies, the day is sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime event.   It's not too late to jump on-board for this amazing benefit concert.
