After a special assignment in London, I am back just in time to deliver our "Year in Review" series. We will start with everyone's favorite guilty pleasure, reality television. After polling fans online, and conducting extensive research, I am pleased to present "The Most Loved Reality Stars of 2013!"
1. Ryan Serhant (Million Dollar Listing New York)
Ryan Serhant has it all, good looks, charm, wit, and a hilarious sense of humor, so it comes as no surprise that fans chose him as the most loved reality star of 2013. With praise from fans pouring in all over the web, Serhant proved that he is not your average reality star. 2013 started off with a bang for Serhant with a profile piece on 20/20, followed with the debut of his hit TV series, "Million Dollar Listing New York." After scoring an extraordinary 50% increase in ratings from season 1, Bravo quickly renewed "Million Dollar Listing New York" for season 3. Serhant's successful year continued with the announcement of his web-series for Celebuzz, "Ryan's Realty Byte." After building a big presence on television, and on the web, the media reported that Serhant was headed for Hollywood after being cast in a major film alongside Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts and Amanda Seyfried. Serhant's place at the top of our list of the most loved reality stars of 2013 is much deserved.
With her "tell-it-like-it-is" attitude, the Diva that everyone loves to love is none other than "The Real Housewives of Atlanta's" breakout star NeNe Leakes. Leakes parlayed her success into scripted television with a breakthrough reoccurring guest star performance on Fox's hit show Glee and starring role on NBC's The New Normal. Rounding out the year with another successful season of Housewives, NeNe snagged her own spin-off, "I Dream of NeNe" that scored huge ratings and solidified her as one of the most loved reality stars of 2013.
3. Gordon Ramsay (Kitchen Nightmares)
Ramsay is the reality star that everyone loves to hate so he is naturally amongst our list of the most loved reality stars of 2013. With a hit show on a major network, and restaurants all over the world, Ramsay is basking in the sunlight of success and building an empire that includes his own line of cookware. Despite Ramsay's fierce attitude, fans keep coming back for more and that has landed him on our list of the most loves reality stars of 2013.
4. Lauren Conrad (Laguna Beach, The Hills)
American fell in love with Lauren Conrad in 2004 when she debuted on the pop-culture phenomenon "Laguna Beach." Conrad then parlayed that into a successful spin-off with "The Hills," which pitted her against frenemy Heidi Montag. After making the smart decision to leave the series, Conrad emerged as a successful entrepreneur with multiple clothing and product lines, bestselling book and a destination website. Conrad continues to grace the covers of some of the world's leading magazines and has managed to maintain a positive and relevant image.
