The most disliked athletes in America: Survey reveals top 10 (Video)

Who are the most disliked athletes in America? A new Nielsen/E-Poll survey reveals the top 10 results, and some of the names on the list might seem surprising. The Los Angeles Times shared the list on Feb. 8, and there is quite the range of results.

Hearing that Lance Armstrong and Manti Te'o made the list of most disliked athletes in America will probably not come as much of a surprise. The stories surrounding them lately plus the recent buzz about them make them naturals for the list. Te'o may still have his supporters, but many think the story of his fake girlfriend is just bizarre and unlikely, thus apparently throwing him into the category of highly disliked by the general public.

Who comprises the rest of the top 10 most disliked athletes in America according to the poll? Tony Romo, Kobe Bryant and NASCAR driver Kurt Busch take the bottom spots. Michael Vick beat them out as more highly disliked, then comes New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.

Metta World Peace may have changed his name, but it didn't change his standing with sports fans apparently. The fourth spot goes to Jay Cutler and his perceived arrogance, and Tiger Woods takes the third spot. The second spot is saved for Manti Te'O, then comes the disgraced biker. Lance Armstrong is still the top dog, but it's no longer in a positive way. Those responding to the polls put him at the top of the list of most disliked athletes in America.

What do you think of the list? Are there any names you'd have added or subtracted as the most disliked athletes in America?
