Where are the monsters? Well, that depends on where you are. For a little kid, they could be under the bed, in the closet, or up in the attic. If you are at The Greater Cleveland Aquarium, the monsters are some different places but especially in the Sea Monsters Exhibit located on the second floor.
I will admit that I am not a fan of sea snakes and well, some of those octopuses are kind of gross-looking too. I am not knocking them. I mean, they have to live, exist, and have fun just like any other animals in the world. However, I thought some of the other octopuses were cool; and those sting rays and sharks were really interesting as well. Even if you like sea monsters only a little bit, you will find something to interest you in this exhibit. They have both audio and visual displays as well as real-life animals you can see too. They also name the characteristics that you will need in order to be a sea monster. I will not reveal them because I think they want to be in disguise until you come here and see them. I would say that the Sea Monsters Exhibit is a good way to end your tour of The Greater Cleveland Aquarium. It is both engaging and straightforward in its content. Plus, if someone in your group gets a little scared after seeing some of the animals, it is a good time to head over to the cafe for a snack or to head home. Either way, though, it is an exhibit worth seeing.
Admission to the Sea Monsters Exhibit is free after paying the cost of general admission. This exhibit only lasts until mid-April so hurry if you want to see it before all the monsters swim away.
