The Mom Heart Conference is coming to Raleigh in March. Per the website: "This is a two-day hotel conference and getaway designed especially for Christian mothers, now in its 12th year of ministering to moms. When the cultural ground is shifting, there's no better time to renew your heart for a new start with God. Sally will strengthen and encourage your heart to rise to the task of raising wholehearted children for Christ at home. A special guest speaker and Sarah Clarkson will share heart-renewing messages, and a special Panel Discussion will discuss the Mom Heart Ministry vision. The conference includes practical workshops, inspirational worship, a seated banquet luncheon, book tables, and more."
The conference will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 12 and 13, at the Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley which is located at 4500 Marriott Drive, in Raleigh. The conference schedule is as follows but is subject to change:
FRIDAY
1:00-3:00 ~ registration and booktable
3:00-5:15 ~ workshops (3:00, Sarah; 4:15, Guest)
7:00-9:30 ~Session 1 (Message, Sally)
SATURDAY
8:30-11:30 ~ Session 2 (Message, Sally; Message, Guest)
12:15-1:30 ~ Seated banquet lunch
2:00-4:30 ~ Session 3 (Panel discussion; Message, Sally)
5:00 ~ Conference ends
You can go to the website to register. The cost is $89 if you register by February the 12th or $99 if you register after that. The cost of the conference does not include staying over at the hotel.
As for the ministry itself, their website states: Whole Heart Ministries is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) Christian ministry dedicated to equipping and encouraging Christian parents to build a biblical home and a godly heritage by nurturing, discipling and educating their children at home. Proceeds from conference registrations accrue entirely and only to WHM, a faith ministry dependent in part on the contributions of friends who share the Clarkson's hearts for ministering to Christian parents and their children. Registration fees for attending this event are not tax-deductible.
This could be a great event for local homeschool moms to come to together for a time of encouragement. Don't miss out!

Sally Clarkson will be speaking on 'Joy in the midst of difficult seasons' and her guest speaker will be Traci Klicka, widow of Chris Klicka from HSLDA.
It is a great retreat week end for Mothers!
This is a retreat for ALL Mothers. I just returned from the CA conference and we had Mothers of all ages, even grandmothers. This is a ministry to encourage all Mothers in their role of disciplining their children
