Last night on Monday Night Raw, The Miz won his first World Championship as he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and then went on to defeat Randy Orton for the WWE Championship.
Orton has just retained the WWE Championship over Wade Barrett moments earlier and was “selling” a knee injury he suffered from The Nexus.
The fans in Orlando were totally shocked following the Miz’s victory. Here are some things fans in Metro Detroit are saying about last night’s show.

I will say The Miz has come along way since debuting with the WWE on the heels of being on reality show star. From all accounts, he took a lot of heat from the guys backstage, stuck with it and is now being rewarded with the strap. I was shocked to see him cash in the briefcase last night and not at a PPV. None the less, he’s done something some huge names in this business have not, win a World Title.
