The Mid-West Reggae Fest to be held at North Lawrence, Ohio

On August 1-3, 2014 Clay’s Water Park in North Lawrence, Ohio will be transformed into a little be of heaven or as fans of Reggae call it J-A-M-A-I-C-A! This tiny little burg that sits 20 miles west of Canton, Ohio will be the site of the 23rd annual Midwest Reggae Fest. Tickets are now on sale at www.MidWestReggaeFest.com.

The Mid West Reggae is one of the longest running reggae festivals in the United State and this year’s line-up includes several top international reggae entertainers. This is the first year for the festival at this venue and the site offers three days of music, camping, swimming, food vendors and arts & crafts. This is the best party of the summer!

Headlining the event this year will be SOJA (Soldiers of Jah Army) who are based in Washington DC, Morgan Heritage (The Royal Family of Reggae) direct from Jamaica, The Wailing Souls from Jamaica and The Meditations, also from Jamaica. In all 18 reggae bands will take part and a Gospel style brunch is scheduled for early Sunday morning. The festival features one of the best sound systems in the country and the venue allows swimming and camping. You can even bring in your own supplies for the entire weekend and cooler and picnic baskets are allowed. Please note no glass is allowed. All of the information is at www.MidwestReggaeFest.com.

Tickets are $100 for the whole weekend; $85 for Saturday & Sunday and $65 for Sunday only. Admission includes camping and swimming. The first 500 tickets sold will receive a $15 discount.
