Noah was a Messenger of Allah (Elohim in Hebrew; it is singular word). He lived in his nation 950 years advising them to believe in Allah and worship Him. He told them Allah is the Creator of Heavens, earth and everything in between; however, they made fun of him, continued their entertainment, and refused to listen to him. He continued to advise them, but they threatened him that if he did not stop, they would stone him to death. One day he began crying and asked Allah to help him. Allah commanded him to build an ark, take a pair of every creature on the earth in his ark, and ordered him to leave his village. Allah told him also to leave his wife because she was cheating on him, and his son was not his biological son.
In the translated verse of the Quran 71:1-6: We sent Noah to his people (with command): “Warn your people before there comes to them a grievous penalty” He said: “O my people! I am to you a Warner, clear and open: “That you should worship Allah, fear Him and obey me: So He may forgive you your sins and give you respite for stated Term: for when the term given by Allah is accomplished, it cannot be put forward: if you only knew.” He said: “O my lord! I have called to my people night and day: But my call only increases (their) flight (from the Right). (Yusuf Ali)
Noah built his ark while his villagers were criticizing him and made jokes about him. Noah took a pair from every creature on the earth and left all those who never believed in Allah. His country was destroyed by severe thunder and flooding after he left it and sailed his ark.
In the translated verse of the Quran 25:37: And the people of Noah, - when they rejected the messenger We drowned them and We made them as a Sign for mankind and we have prepared for (all) wrongdoers a grievous penalty. (Yusuf Ali)
And in 11:40: At length, behold! There came Our command, and the fountains of earth gushed forth! We said: “Embark therein of each kind two, male and female, and your family- except those against whom the word has already gone forth ,- and the believers.” but only a few believed with him. (Yusuf Ali)
Noah and the believers of Allah were saved and survived. So, they lived their lives peacefully in another place on earth.
