Fans of “The Mentalist” were screaming at the television on Sunday night reminding Patrick Jane to talk. The lead character that helps the FBI fight crime apparently can’t help himself when it comes to Agent Teresa Lisbon. As fans watched in disbelief, Patrick sat reading a book at the end of the day as Agent Lisbon went home to Agent Pike. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Sunday, the season finale is going to be a heart stopper as Lisbon starts her move to Washington to live with Agent Pike.
Agent Pike found her a job, offered her a place to live in Washington and even proposed. The man seems to have found the perfect girlfriend, except Patrick Jane appears to have feelings for his partner too. Agent Lisbon’s decision between the man who she has worked with in the past, Patrick Jane and moving on to Washington with Agent Pike, the dilemma weighed heavy on the episode on Sunday night and the move starts but not before a cold case requires her to work with Patrick Jane one last time.
A new lead in a cold case requires Lisbon to delay her plans to leave for Washington, D.C. with Agent Pike. This giving Jane time to finally come to terms with his feelings for her and decide on a course of action to express his emotion. The teaser for the sixth season finale shows Patrick Jane running after an airplane in a last minute dash.
Fans are torn too, but time is running out for a decision to be made and without Patrick Jane being up front about his feelings for his longtime colleague, it is pretty obvious she will move on and find happiness without him. Unless during the season finale, Jane can tell Lisbon how he really feels and convince her to stay this partnership is over for good. The only good news to this scenario is if Jane can't talk, then he has a whole season to find her as CBS News is reporting "The Mentalist" was renewed by CBS.
“The Mentalist” airs Sunday on CBS. Don’t miss the season finale to find out what Patrick Jane decides to say to get his feelings known.
