The “Mentalist” fans are finally going to see Patrick Jane put his feelings into words when his FBI partner tries to leave on the season finale of the popular CBS show. Viewers have watched the two characters solve case after case for the FBI over the series, but when it comes to being a tiny bit honest on how Patrick Jane feels round Agent Teresa Lisbon, it’s been silent. According to KPopStarz on Thursday, the two will finally have a conversation and Patrick Jane will confront his feelings for Teresa on the last episode of the season.

The fans have been yelling at the TV for weeks now for Patrick to say something to Teresa. As FBI Agent Pike has come into the office and whisked Agent Lisbon off her feet, the two are planning to move together to Washington and maybe even get married. "The Mentalist" creator Bruno Heller guaranteed that on the season finale there will be closure, one way or the other.

On the season finale of “Blue Bird” a new lead in a cold case requires Lisbon to delay her plans to leave for Washington, with Agent Pike. This amazing break gives Jane time to finally come to terms with his feelings for her and decide on a course of action to talk with her. It might take until the end of the episode for the moment, but fans are patient and plan to be watching until the very last scene.

While the fans were elated to hear that CBS renewed the series for one more season, what happens in the season finale will definitely point to the direction of next season. There is no doubt that the pair works well together solving crimes, but the big question is are they meant to be together for the rest of their lives? And can he stop her from moving to Washington when she hears how he really feels?

“The Mentalist” airs on Sunday night at 10 p.m. ET.
