The Maryland Science Center has been making science fun for people of all ages. The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street Baltimore, MD 21230. The Maryland Science Center celebrated Pi Day with a weekend full of activities. On Friday March 14, 2014, The Maryland Science Center celebrated Pi or 3.14159. “Visitors did a Pi recitation contest, Pi necklace-making and added to the never-ending Pi chain throughout the Maryland Science Center. They can also compete in a pie-eating contest, courtesy of Dangerously Delicious Pies.”

The Maryland Science Center opened its newest exhibit called Power Up! which was funded by Constellation Energy. The Baltimore Ravens have partnered with Constellation Energy for Sacks for Science. Sacks for Science isa program sponsoring bus trips for students to see the exhibit.” Power Up! is all about everything electricity. Visitors will learn so much more about electricity.
