Community health, whose job it is to get people enrolled, got a dose of reality today. By not meeting enrollment goals, community health partners stand to lose out on a federal grant to the tune of one million dollars. The money would not be returned to the feds however; the Department of Legislative Services has requested the money be used to repair the problems with the exchange. All this would be fine if anyone knew what's causing the exchange to have so many glitches. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, people are still experiencing difficulty when attempting to utilize the exchange to sign up for affordable insurance.Watching a million dollar grant slip through our fingers is painful and yet, the citizens have yet to hear of a viable plan to fix the problems.
