There were a lot of commercials during this year's Super Bowl. In fact, some people admit they watch the Super Bowl just for the ads.
Despite the $4 million for a 30 second ad, a legendary Richmond advertising agency created a commercial which that was featured during the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 3, 2013.
The Martin Agency partnered with Pizza Hut to create a national campaign called "Hut Hut Hut."
The advertisement featured eighteen video clips from around the country including children and a dog. The videos show the country's best "hut hut hut" football moments.
The agency says that when you hear the words "Hut Hut Hut" you often think about football. You also think about the second word in the popular restaurant chain, Pizza Hut.
The Martin Agency was founded in Richmond on July 5, 1965. The company gained national recognition for developing the "Virginia is For Lovers" campaign in 1969.
The idea was to air the Pizza Hut commercial at the beginning of the game so people could place their order for pizza so they could enjoy it during the game.
