The Golf Studio in The Marshes Golf Club is up and running and will be helping players take their games to higher levels until March 28.
“We’ve opened the studio with four hitting bays on the main floor of the clubhouse,” said Andrew Donaldson, director of golf for The Marshes and PGA of Canada and Titleist Performance Institute professional. “Our philosophy is to guide golfers as they commit to reaching goals through purposeful practice sessions and by following a comprehensive program that ensures all required attributes are being considered.”
The program costs $495. Players receive unlimited access to The Golf Studio and three hours of private instruction with Donaldson or Sean Joyce, who is also a PGA of Canada and Titleist Performance Institute professional.
Students will also benefit from a Titleist Performance Institute screening, driver and iron fittings, swing video analysis and recording, putting pointers with the Tomi Pro Putting System and short game training aids.
“The fully customizable program ensures that all aspects of each player’s game are targeted to produce improvement,” said Donaldson. “We work with golfers to organize a program that suits their schedules, overall abilities and guides them to reaching their desired goals.”

- One-hour private lesson - $95
- One hour Tomi Pro Putting, Swing Byte/iSwing session - $75
- Wood or iron fitting with launch monitor and fitting system from Titleist, Mizuno or Ping - $50
- 12 one-hour practice sessions - $150
- One-hour practice session - $15

“At The Golf Studio, we look beyond swing mechanics,” Donaldson said. “Sean and I have teamed up with medical practitioners and personal trainers to build a holistic golf coaching program that produces better personal health and the playing of better golf.”
Donaldson adds that the new Titleist 913 woods and irons and the latest Mizuno clubs can be checked out at The Golf Studio and are available for fitting sessions.
